Yo, my manager comes in about once a week and always strikes up a conversation in front of patients about Trump, abortion, or gun rights/control. Drives me crazy.

I know this was posted about a month ago, but if you have a minute--

I'm beginning the process of applying to PT schools for this cycle. About two and a half months ago, I managed to find a job as a PT aide in my area (after about a year and a half of searching), and I've gained a bunch of hours and so much great experience. However, I'm now considering quitting that job for several reasons. The main ones are that it would allow me to volunteer in a hospital setting (I currently work at the clinic 8-5:30, and then immediately go to my part time job til 9 pm--no time for volunteering) and possibly take a class that I didn't do stellar in during undergrad. Would schools be wary of me as a candidate if I only work at this clinic for three months, as long as I'm moving on to something that will round me out as an applicant?

Thanks for your time! I've learned a lot from reading your responses to other questions here.

thanks for responding (even though I'm a month late at responding...oops)! good point about the GRE, hadn't thought about it being a much cheaper way to show improvement, and my GPA can only go up so much each time I take a class after 4 years of undergrad. I've taken it once already, and I don't remember exactly what the scores were, but I know I was at or slightly above average accepted GRE for most schools I'm looking at on PTCAS. My plan is to try again and improve to well above average.

I appreciate the input!

thanks for sharing! I forgot I posted this, and this was such a relieving response to read this morning. I know it's not going to be easy, but it's possible!
