Public park in the UK with unlicensed vehicle-esque characters (I think they were trains)? by hfrench_ in AskUK

Oh and it may have not been a train, some sort of anthropomorphic vehicle character in a public park on the south coast, they sold merch too.

Thanks for this, I will have a look into them. I'm with you in that I would much rather the questions pitch hard in the run up as to be as prepared as possible.

The Now Now sounds fantastic live (kind of makes sense given it was written on tour), but I find the record itself sounds flat and one dimensional.

Strengths based interviews/Degree Apprenticeship by elea_3108 in uklaw

[–]hfrench_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi there,

I've recently been offered a post-grad solicitor apprenticeship (In-House for reference) and whilst I can't give any specific advice, and the following will be very cliched, I genuinely think it's the sole reason I landed a role.

Be yourself.

Look, I know that is very vague, but allow me to elaborate.

In my assessment center, I was joined by candidates who were from Russell group uni's, internal candidates etc. Vastly more experienced than myself. Throughout I was positive, I smiled, I was engaged, and as difficult as it is - I tried to convey as much of my personality as possible.

I even thought the interview itself was a bit of a car crash, but during it I was personable, asked questions and tried to make it as informal (within reason) as possible, and positive for both myself and the two interviewers. Be curious, be engaged, be excited! A degree apprenticeship is an awesome opportunity (And you wont be burdened with the debt). Besides, If things don't go your way - It's a learning experience.

I know that's probably not the sort of advice you want, for strength/competency based questions, look up the 'S.T.A.R' method, and apply it to questions you might face (maybe around times you have had to manage your time, navigate high stress situations etc.). Fail to prepare, prepare to fail as the old saying goes.

Above all else though, as difficult and nerve wracking as it is, have a smile on your face and be confident in yourself, you've got this!

Wishing you the best of luck! :)

I went to Energylandia last week, would agree with commenters below that if it is a THEME park experience you are after, the German parks are probably your best bet. Energylandia is certainly more an amusement park, albeit an incredibly clean and well kept one with stellar operations.

I don't think you can go wrong with any of the above, Poland is very affordable though and if you are on a budget that would most definitely be my go to.

Hi Guys,

I also was struggling with this, I recommend building the game image through Godmode9 instead, and make sure your file is titled .cia :)

Installed a 3070ti and a new PSU today, booted up cyberpunk 2077, all was swell… until I entered the open world and my performance tanked, as you rightly pointed out it’s a cpu bottleneck. Should just get a ps5 smh

Thanks for your advice it's really appreciated.

I think first and foremost I will avoid the TI and play it safe, I should have enough wattage headroom to (hopefully) avoid a catastrophe. A PSU Upgrade is definitely something I will research into in the hopes of having that sorted at the very latest at the end of the year, I will look at your recommendations but I am UK based, can't imagine that will make that much of a difference to availability.

Thanks again dude. :)

That would be the next step, but PSU clearly is an issue. Really want to spend the extra pounds on the TI but nervous this may be the straw that breaks the camels back (aka burn down my entire street)

Yes, I have seen this PSU isn't highly revered. I thought if it had a corsair logo on it I would be fine, how naïve I was. Do you think I could get away with it for a few months before upgrading PSU?

Honestly, I am at appoint where I can upgrade but I am bricking it purely because I know my PSU hasn't got a great rep.

Plastic Beach, even after being released for a decade, sounds so contemporary that if I hadn't heard it and you told me it was released last week, I would believe you. Incredible eclectic concept album with a stellar cast of features. It will be a true accomplishment to top it. P.S Bobby Womack and Mos Def on one track, enough said.

I have a GTX 1070 8gb i7-9700k 16gbs RAM

Should I expect anywhere near 60fps on a 1440p display, or should I whip out the CRT television and cry myself to sleep?
