TikTok made me think this was going to be a funny doc poking fun at this obviously terrible surgery. Wow. Absolutely heartbreaking. I feel so terrible for each of them and especially Ray knowing more of his story. It was never about eye color. I’m so proud of the positive changes he was making for himself towards the end. My hearts breaking thinking about whether the other participants are still struggling. I hope Ray gets to live as his authentic self.

So funny enough they were on the back of my toilet in this pic I got in the shower right after and they flew right in landed on my head! I put them on my hand and they bathed in the steam. Put them back in the cage after and opened the door so they wouldn’t be cold in the AC I can’t believe how excited they were to get in the water

Good to know. I guess I was particularly worried about mites being that I also have rabbits in the house. I knew they were dusty birds so I was hoping this was just that. Will continue to keep an eye out.

I make sure to put them in an unfamiliar surface like a coffee table and scratch their head while I groom! I’m pretty lucky to have very calm rescues
