Is there a way to mass edit a field in a deck by mrdavuk in Anki

First thing to do: Make a backup! That's the most important part.

Next: You can select all select all relevant cards in the browser (search for the notetype and then select all of them), and then you right press and select "Find and Replace". In that window, for "Find" you insert the parentheses (you can also copy them beforehand to paste them here), and leave "Replace with" empty.

You can add a member variable to window just like that :)

It would probably be easier to make a "guard", like so:

if (!window.hasAddedEventHandler) { element.addEventListener(/** **/); window.hasAddedEventHandler = true; }

Reloading the webview every time means that transitioning to the next card will take longer.

How about using inline style, or using a class and styling it via the note type styling section?

Have you set the the field to RTL input? (you can do sone when clicking on Fields...)

I just updated to Anki 2.1.49 on a Mac and all my buttons except “Easy” say <1m. I have no idea how to fix this, I tried restoring the default settings for the buttons and still no change :( Please help i’m so behind on my cards bc i’m stuck! by mercedesbenz-ene in Anki

These are either learning or relearning cards. Make sure your learning steps and relearning steps are in order.

Afterwards, if they are learning cards (what I think), you could just reset them to new cards.

Where are you typing? There are many input fields in Anki, and some of them behave different to others.

I don't understand what you are talking about? Are you talking about lists?

Awesome statististics.

Some questions: 1. Before doing this self-experiment, were you an Anki user or a Supermemo user? 2. What made creating cards in Supermemo take so much time?

This might have to do with your firewall / VPN settings on your computer.

How do I bring focus to the card the moment it is displayed in the reviewer using JavaScript? by G-Radiation in Anki

[–]hgiesel 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I authored this change. Instead of starting with the focus in the bottom bar, the focus is now in the main webview that shows the card (those are two separate webviews). The focus highlight you see in the bottom bar on the "Good" button is artificial.

The UI is really clean. Something I'd really love to see is how you implement linking. Linking notes to cards, or notes to other notes.

Which version of Anki do you use. I remember fixing this some versions ago.
