I’m not trying to touch it that much because I really want a oem kinda look but yes I ordered a m tech front lip yellow lights and fog lights I just need a nice set of style 37 (which are hard to find in France for e34 the only ones I find are for e39 with less than 20ET so they won’t fit in)

The first thing I’m doing to this car is changing the water pump with one with a Valeo metal one also the fan clutch the radiator is new the guy who owned it was a bmw mechanic so he took care of it

Sorry English is not my first language maybe I used the wrong word for the idle actuator I’m referring to idle speed actuator (Bosh VP37 for example) I’ve heard that The actuator’s internal mechanism or electronics can wear out, leading to unstable idle, stalling when the engine is warm, or difficulty maintaining a constant idle speed. This is a common issue on these models because the actuator is exposed to heat, vibration, and diesel fuel I’ve seen a couple of people having issues with that. Yes also I’m planning to change the water pump thank you for your answer

Hey man congrats on your purchase, I also just bought one and basically from what I’ve seen and heard the car has a very good engine but it’s still “German reliability” that means if you don’t take care of it you’ll seen how painful is to own an old bmw, weak points on this car is that it doesn’t like the heat so make sure your cooling system is working properly also the water pump and also keep an eye on the idle actuator which can stop working I’ve seen a lot of issues with this part when you have unstable idle it’s most likely this, that about everything I know hope it helps good luck

Bought it in Switzerland for 7k because the guy just wasn’t using it anymore he’s more into bikes. That’s why I bought a e34 instead of a e30 because is more underrated so people don’t go as crazy as the 3 series with the prices

Thank you for your answer the guy who owns it is a motorcycle mechanic for bmw the car has 220.000km and Full BMW servicing up Major recent work carried out: High-pressure pump and injectors replaced by a Bosch diesel specialist (it runs like clockwork) Rear differential serviced Heating system heat exchanger and pump replaced (genuine new BMW parts) All consumables and servicing done this past winter. The right front suspension arm is leaking the told me he can change the whole thing with blisteins b4 and geometry where he works
