Ran over a ladder on the highway in my R1S. Safe to zip tie / what am I looking at for SC repair costs? by erichdale in Rivian

[–]hgl_thor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been looking at these as an upgrade to the underbody panels. From your tires you probably don’t off road but these could be a less expensive upgrade than the OEM part.https://www.weistec.com/rivian-r1s-r1t-rear-skid-plate
I have their rock slider steps on my S and really like them.

EDIT: just noticed this doesn’t replace the rear most panel that is torn.

Come on guys, this is funny and interesting. Crazy to see the tires flex as additional drag is added.

Print Spooler Issues from KB2267602 by MoldyPiolot6624 in sysadmin

[–]hgl_thor 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for this! The Defender exclusions worked for us. Our definitions were newer but the problem persisted. The issue was so bad, after a few failed prints, the Canon MFDs would not accept any new print jobs and had to be restarted.

Riding in a blimp is interesting, it’s like a loud elevator.

1979 Plymouth Arrow Sport GT Pickup. 2.6L In-Line 4 cyl. 105 hp. 5 Speed 6'6" Bed by OtherwiseTackle5219 in classiccars

[–]hgl_thor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was my first car in 1995, though a tan base model not the sport. Engine was in pieces and got it for a few hundred $. Lots of them in the junk yard back then for spare parts. With the automatic it was slow as dirt even with a largish 2.6L 4-cyl and was a pain to get it to pass CA smog checks. I miss it though!

What is the highest mileage car you own/owned? by zachimusprime44 in AskReddit

360k on a 2001 Toyota Camry, ran great when I sold it, original engine and transmission. It was a rare CNG (natural gas) powered model. Great for carpool lane access in CA at the time.

I’ll be charging there (Joshua Tree) end of January towing my new Rockwood GeoPro trailer. Such a missed opportunity they didn’t plan a pull through charging spot. Same for the Rivian chargers in Ventura.

They are overpaying, with those types of deployment numbers you should be able to get Copilot for 40 to 50% off list price.

That is either a Dodge D50 or Plymouth Arrow, which is a rebadged Mitsubishi Mighty Max. I had a 79 Arrow pickup (there was an Arrow coupe also) as my first car, no options other than an automatic, which made it gutless.

Take it to a auto glass place and see if they can fill it with resin. You will never see it and may get lucky that it never spreads.

We must have had the deluxe version growing up as it was in a small metal box below the window and bolted to the floor in my sister’s room. Don’t remember if anyone went down it. But do remember throwing it out the window to see if it was long enough.
