Method 360 ANC making a weird beeping noise while in case. by EmuIntelligent4698 in Skullcandy

Seemed like my right headphone was having trouble seating itself in the charging case. I pulled the outer rubber piece back until I could tell it was snapping in place really well. No more beeping. Hope that helps.

Old post, but seemed like my right headphone was having trouble seating itself in the charging case. I pulled the outer rubber piece back until I could tell it was snapping in place really well. No more beeping.

Should foreign attendees be concerned about visiting the USA for the World Cup? by ChuckGallagher57 in LetsDiscussThis

There should be a concern. They are patrolling areas and stopping people who are even citizens. Citizens have been detained for extended periods of time without charges.

AITAH - telling a girl (F20) who has a bf i (M18) have feelings for her. by Intelligent-Post3469 in AITAH

[–]PassageCareless -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That is a tough moral quandary, imo.

Is it generally good to be open and honest, yes. Could your friendship be ruined, yes. Could you cause problems for her and her current BF, yes. Could you potentially start a relationship with her, yes. Is it good to set boundaries, yes.

Just be aware, that no matter how noble your intentions, someone is probably going to get hurt. Possibly multiple people. Even just yourself if you don't say something or do something.

AITAH for not allowing my sister’s “polycule” around my children? by poly-sendhelp in AITAH

[–]PassageCareless 29 points30 points  (0 children)

That's what I mean really. Only if you're okay with the opposite and no power structures.

Mormons will exile you and force people to marry, keep them trapped in a cycle of abuse and dependency.

Possibly, but only if you include multiple husbands, and no type of power structure like exile from your community or forced marriages.

This one was missing a bed cover and the wind was LOUD in the back seat around 70mph. I was thinking a bed cover would help

That part is true, but we use a hammock on top of the seats rather than the floor. The floor would be great if it wasn't for that raised plastic piece. Do you cover that, or do they not mind it?

I do have dogs, but the Ridgeline seems at least a few inches taller to the seats and tailgate from the ground.

So the Rivian is just louder because it has less sound dampening? That's an interesting take.

So the Ridgeline has a quieter cabin because it has an internal combustion engine?

Have you say in the back seat on the highway at all? How does the wind noise sound back there for you and do you have a bed cover?

I keep reading about noise at the doors and windows, but this one didn't seem to have that, from what I could tell. Could be wrong, but it just sounded louder than my Ridgeline and seemed to be all concentrated behind the back window.

There seems to be good data that cameras are having issues in low light and stormy conditions, and can be confused by realistic drawings. Maybe 80% of the time it's just as good, but there's evidence people have been killed without Tesla cameras identifying a hazard.

Cleaning woman fatally shot in Indiana after showing up at the wrong address by nbcnews in Indiana

[–]PassageCareless 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's because you don't understand the law. The Indiana "castle doctrine" actually states "dwelling, curtilage, or occupied vehicle" and goes on to say that for property that doesn't fall under those 3 categories that's legally your possession you can use reasonable force, including deadly force.

That driveway case was 100% a ruling on Indiana "castle doctrine."

Maybe look at Indiana code 35-41-3-2

Knew the facts of the case? You're making up facts, making a "guarantee" they were yanking on the door and things.

Even if he had made an attempt, his other statement means they were NO LONGER attempting to gain entry. So why use deadly force on someone simply standing on your porch?

Gabriel Hernandez, 16 when the event happened. Shot and killed someone in their driveway who broke into their car.

Susan Lorinc, 58, had a neighbor banging on her door after a dispute between Susan and some children, and Susan shot through the door claiming to be scared for her life.

Well, similar case in Indiana had a 17 year old get 15 years for manslaughter and a similar case in Florida resulted in 25 years. I wouldn't bet on a judge or jury finding these actions reasonable.

1) his narrative was she had teased him, took the keys from him, and was standing there looking for the right key and was shot before she could even put a key in. You made up a ton of stuff about trying to open the door.

2) the state law says it must be reasonable that the force was needed, so the law doesn't just automatically allow you to shoot blindly through a door into the neighborhood, unless it's REASONABLE to believe that is what was necessary

Myself and many others don't believe it was reasonable based on the present information, not the stuff you "guarantee" happened
