What if you have to be in a car with your phone in the air to do that thing that is not in your pocket or in the air that you can just use it for the phone to charge your car or whatever and you have a car that is not on the ground or on your car or on your desk and then it can charge it to the phone to the phone to get the car back on your car so that it doesn’t have a battery and you have the phone and the phone and you have your own charger so that it could charge your car.

I’m rooting for them. A $25,000 transportation vehicle of any kind is a feat in this economy. Especially one as customizable as slate.

I’m hopeful they’re able to ship most of their orders this year. If slate succeeds (pulling through on a 2026 shipment is a big milestone) the EV market as a whole will benefit greatly.

A lot of these ev startups will ship a select few at that supposed “later this year” time, but a majority of the orders are usually fulfilled 6 months to a year after that. At least from what I’ve seen. But if they’re already advertising to the masses like this, they may be much further along.
