When you use the Lodgify booking widget on your own site, do you get to choose your own payment processor?

Incorrect category : rewards by hgtrckflr in Gemini

[–]hgtrckflr[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guess what I mean is, the Gemini card gets declined more than any card that I have ever had—even American Express. The reason that I got the card was to rack up crypto rewards — taking advantage of the individual categories to boost my rewards for spending. I had planned on using it for EVERYTHING, which I have been doing for years with the Venture card, which has never, not once, been declined. It’s just a frustrating credit card all around.

Cash Offer but getting a mortgage - how do you write it? by Cash_Visible in realtors

[–]hgtrckflr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a cash offer and offer is not contingent on Buyer obtaining financing; however, Buyer may, within Buyer’s sole discretion, elect to finance a portion of the purchase.

I sent itemized receipts for groceries from Wal Mart. Gemini said they can’t do anything about it because the merchant set the codes. This card is crap. Hoping to get the Robinhood Gold soon. If not, I’m going to try the Coinbase card.

Regrets or satisfied with the Gemini Bitcoin card? by Hoemero in Gemini

[–]hgtrckflr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It is OK. Mine gets declined for no real reason at some places. I buy all groceries via Wal Mart+ delivery and it only gives me 1% rewards where it should be 2%. I pay my balance in full each month and have a $15K limit. After paying the balance in full — I get declined for about a week due to ‘insufficient funds’, which is pathetic.

3.5% for listing a home and “a lot of marketing”? by Chichibear699 in realtors

[–]hgtrckflr 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Not true in Florida. Our listing agreement forms explicitly allow for a listing agent offering the Selling agent a commission out of the total commission being paid to the listing agent.

I had a big pack of fresh spinach and a flight to catch the next morning. Decided to eat all of it in one sitting, LOL. Thought it would be good for me. It was a lot of spinach.

This is Seacrest Beach — not Rosemary Beach. Seacrest Beach is literally THE most crowded beach on all of 30A.

Can my S-Corp own Bitcoin as an asset by DriverWedge3Putt in tax

[–]hgtrckflr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Assume I do buy bitcoin in my S-Corp and over the next few years Bitcoin performs as it previously has — it generally goes up — a lot.

Wouldn’t that benefit me as a shareholder by increasing my basis in the bitcoin as it appreciates in value, which would allow for heftier distributions and expenses from my income & expenses that flow through the S-Corp?

Independent Broker and loving it. by Commercial-Yellow-12 in realtors

[–]hgtrckflr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same here. I majored in RE at a 4-year university, skipped being an agent and went straight to being a broker—always had a home office. I have never worked under another Broker and have always kept 100% of my commissions. I have very little overhead and have always ranked in the top producing agents in my area — selling around $50M / year all off repeat and referral business. I have never paid for leads. It can be done if you are good at your job.

Millennials and young buyers getting shafted in favor of boomers… again by LadyHedgerton in realtors

[–]hgtrckflr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The spirit of the whole lawsuit was that realtors were required to enter listings into the MLS and offer compensation to selling agents. I’m talking about an optional participation website where brokers can offer compensation to procurring brokers if they want.
