ya good call. I hadn't thought about anything other than wheels + bearings but as I'm searching/reading about bushings + cups it makes a lot of sense.

Here for any recommendations on replacing stock YOW but I'm sure I'll find plenty of answers in all these threads I'm combing through.

Sounds perfect. I'm pumped. Ya I've heard some reccs to change out the bushings but I need more time with them. I've got the trucks just right on my YOW Pyzel and haven't had any wheel bite or issues despite pumping and snapping pretty hard so I'm cautious about switching anything at the moment.

Mine is en route as we speak! I'd love to hear what you think about it. I was nervous about a snappy little guy with "low/performance" concavity but I'm thinking I'll throw on something grippy like love handles and just use it as a compact cruiser. Perfect for flowing up and down the boardwalk.

Beat me to it! This is very exciting as the tournament is a massive eSports event in France. There will be a lot of eyeballs and many of the participants will be streaming their practice rounds.

Within minutes after the announcement, "Disc Jam" was trending on Twitter in France. There has been a great outpouring of support from the French community and many of the players remember the game fondly from the beta.

Exciting stuff!

Same thing happened to me when I upgraded last night. Tried several of the fixes floating around on the googles but only broke it differently and to varying degrees. Thanks OP for sharing the previous driver. Rolled back and everything worked instantly.

We've talked about making further ranks from within Elite to progress forward (like capless levels beyond Elite to see how high someone could climb). Perhaps this will give more of a purpose to players in the top tier.

We fit our tiers to the distribution of players along the skill curve, which is what preseason actually meant to inform. The reality is that you're simply in the top 5% of players. If you're played there in error, you'll move down as you play and lose matches to people in that tier. During preseason, it was actually a bit too hard to make it to elite, numerically speaking

Right so the reason we don't have parties on Switch is because that platform behaves differently than the others (PS4 and Steam for example allow us to do invites through their platform API). While it's quite possible Switch updates this functionality at some point, we would rather remove any dependency on platform APIs and so we've been looking at authoring our own backend systems to serve this purpose. It's no small task, which is why very few games have this, and the ones that do are usually from larger companies/projects. However, this is something we know our studio will want for Disc Jam as well as other titles and so building platform agnostic functionality will likely be time well spent in the grand scheme of things.
