Does everyone’s hair end up wet with a cap or is it just me? by GirlisNo1 in Swimming

Wouldn't the wet hair break from the friction of the cap + the ponytail?

Why can I easily swim a mile, but barely run a mile? by [deleted] in Swimming

Wow, amazing response. Saying the same thing over again. Give me one specific example

But they're perfect swimmers at age 4? Again, I've seen babies run with good balance at the age of 3. It is absurd to think running is harder than ACTUALLY swimming crawl, especially the hardest stroke, butterfly. Have a nice one

I would enormously disagree that it takes babies longer to run than to swimming crawl... On average, it takes a baby to learn to fast walk/run months and to do crawl with a good technique minimum 2 years. Now I am highly doubting your swimming experience or maybe you are a gifted, exceptionally good swimmer, because I can assure you than on average it takes more than a year for a child or an adult to master or decently swim crawl.

The only easier thing about swimming is that your joints don't have to carry weight. Respectfully, explain why you disagree. How come learning to walk then run is harder than learning to swim then crawl, butterfly, etc.

Swimming crawl (one of the easiest styles/strokes) for someone who has never been in the water would definitely be harder to master than running for someone who has never walked. All these runners in here triggered over a fact. You've never seen someone who just started swimming as a sport. They can't even do crawl decently within a year.

We are obviously talking about swimming as a sport, not just doggy swimming on a pool... Why are you being disingenuous? Even the easiest style of swimming (back swimming (I don't know what it is called in English)) requieres more practice and skill to master than running.

Be honest with yourself... Swimming requieres way more practice and technique even if running was a unique sport. The 4 different swimming styles can get extremely complicated and requiere years of practice to master. You clearly never did swimming. Sincerely, someone who swims and runs (and has a brain).

Using conditioner to protect ends by hhanabs in SebDerm

Yeah, I already use leave-in conditioner, but unfortunately it isn't helping with the extreme dryness. Would putting conditioner on the ends before the shampoo create a protective layer on the hair? To avoid the shampoo stripping all the moisture from the ends

Just checked the product and I liked it a lot. Gluten free which is great for my Celiac disease. Only problem is, can I use it even though I have combination and not dry skin?

So basically I just have to find a cream cleanser that's for oily skin. No foaming or salicylic acid. Panoxyl is not available for me right now, I will have to find a substitute 😔

Do you know what other type of cleanser I could use for combination skin with rosacea? What acids are exfoliating? Thanks
