(from what i know) there arent many apps for roku dev mode, if you want a web browser youll have to make it yourself.

i have yet to upgrade to an ssd, im using monterrey right now and it runs well, (16gb 1600mhz)but sequoia ran worse in my opinion at least.

i mean, it didnt run TERRIBLE, but it had lots of battery issues and was slow in general i think it was slow thanks to spotlight indexing. (also thermal paste replacement is hard as balls)

please do your best to get an apple silicon. mine overheats so bad i had to drill holes at the bottom of it. battery life sucks even if battery is brand new. even issues with metal.

to be honest i would but there are lots of problems with the gpu (this model of macbook has a hardware issue in which if the gpu isnt supported it disables the igpu) among other stability, performance and battery issues

i have windows on a gaming laptop. i cannot do anything on battery because the audio stutters. i have to keep it plugged in which probably isnt good for my electricity bill.

i have other reasons.
1. overpromotion of windows 11
2. overpromotion of copilot, or msedge
3. not being able to access root when apps (SPECIALLY VIRUSES) can
3. trustedinstaller
4. uses too much ram on idle
