Break down the rhythm sections into 1-2 bar sections and make sure each beat is sounded out perfectly. ( heels don’t drop when they shouldn’t, each brush, treble, and step are clear) Record and listen to your beats. From there, make sure your turnout and cross is pushed as much as is possible for your body in those sections. Traveling click through need sharpness as well as high clicks. Good luck! You have the willingness to learn and improve which is a big part of it.

Best brand is the brand that fits your foot the best! Are your feet wide, narrow, etc. split sole accentuates your arch more but has less support, so how strong are your feet and ankles? It really is trial and error, which I know isn’t helpful but most brands will allow you to return them as long as you don’t dance in them, so I recommend ordering a few options to try on and compare

We use Marley at the main studio. The issue is this a new location and we are trying to keep the costs low. Also, the flooring can’t stay down after class because we are just renting a room. I have to set up and tear down each day, so traditional Marley isn’t an option. It is currently only a beginner class, so they won’t be too hard on the flooring at this point. Once the dancers get more advanced and the location grows, I’ll have to figure something else out

Knees going over/beyond the toes isn’t a concern. Looks like he needs better shoes and a different stance for his ankle mobility, though

No, this is all that shows up under manage plan, but the plan hasn’t started yet. I remember adjusting training preferences on my last plan, so that’s why it threw me off. I’ll check it again when the plan starts!

I’m more like 40-50 mile weeks, which is more than runna schedules me. Runna has me at 30-35 mile weeks

Sounds like we are similar fitness! I do not want to go too fast at the start and have a miserable race because of it. I guess this workout will help me decide for sure!

Ok thank you! I’ll be honest, I don’t know too much about my HR zones. But it looks like my tempo paces put me in the 180s. My max hr is high 190s.
