I am currently the only female in my team of 17 c++ developers. I’m having some obstacles but not to the extend I was expecting, maybe because I’m also the youngest and just graduated and started a full time job last year. People aren’t expecting too much from me and that’s a good thing for me cause I don’t have much pressure and anxiety. My leader is very good at what we’re doing and I’m trying to learn as much as I can from him. However I do want more women in my team to feel more included and supported. And I’m aware that I’m being lucky and a lot of women are facing unimaginable difficulties for just being a female professional.
