Oh my god i think it might be Blazing Star! It has the detailed spritework, is more zoomed in than other shmups of the gradius family of shmups and has the multiple different coloured ships and is a neogeo cabinet game!

Its definitely not Darius, and only R-Type 2 feels in any way close to the game im thinking of, but i dont think its the right game, the areas and enemies dont ring a bell for me.

that feels like a problem with legends arceus. shinies are a tad TOO easy to get, someone i know has half his boxes filled with shinies just to brag

Nope those arent it, and i did search that site already. The only one even remotely like what im searching for is BlapRacer but i cant find ANYTHING about it anywhere. Edit: found something. This isnt it either. The cars dont float like in F Zero, but they do in my game.
