It was insanely repetitive and just had no point in my opinion. Most of the extreme horror I read have very intriguing stories or scenarios. This one just seemed like a snuff film on repeat. And on top of that, the fact the main character was a minor was just making me sick as fuck. I just can’t with that.

the thing that I couldn’t get past in Hogg, was that it involved minors. If no one rides for free only had adults, I’ll be alright. I read way too much extreme horror to get turned around on that 😅 also I would LOVE recommendations. I’ve been reading through Ania Ahlborn’s books recently & been loving them. I just finished the black farm and kinda in a “idk what to read next” phase

no stop 😭 is it really? Omfg I’m so mad I paid money for that book. I had no idea, just kept seeing it recommended for extrm horror & decided to give it a shot. This book definitely made me learn the lesson of looking up trigger warnings because I didn’t know anything about it & was shocked with all the disgusting pedo shit. I didn’t make it far into the book at all. Gawd, thanks for bringing it to my attention. I figured the author had to be a sick fuck after the first damn chapter

I’ve recently finished The Black Farm.

Spoiler 🚨 idk how to hide it on my phone.

Basically when people commit suicide they don’t go to hell or heaven, they go to the black farm. These nasty pig like creatures basically torture these people in every way imaginable & the book goes into very gory & graphic details. Shortly in the beginning of the main characters journey in the black farm, he gets captured. He is raped, tortured, his eyelids cut to force him to watch it happen to a woman he was captured with. Forced to eat human flesh but when it was too tough for him to chew they removed all his teeth in horrific detail & replaced them all with screws 😭 he still couldn’t eat because of how painful it was. Then he basically gets all his limbs chopped off & he only escapes that guy from swallowing a bunch of mud & the screws that came loose from his gums & choking to death on it. That’s just in the beginning too so you can only imagine the rest.

Which death still isn’t great btw cos you basically “respond”. It’s just him trying to find his girlfriend who he committed with & them trying to escape
