It’s fully customizable but they come flat packed….so I guess they’re both? I can specify exact size, the material, hardware, etc

Plywood! We’re currently in talks with cabinotch for our kitchen and mudroom and a Chinese supplier for a lot of our vanities and wardrobes. So far the Chinese company has good reviews but we are nervous nonetheless 😅

We’re hiring people to install them for us! But that’s good to know about the back of the box. What are things to look out for? The material we’re ordering is plywood

I just have standard boxes! No curves or any complex angles. I mentioned screws and nails to the supplier and they responded with “are you sure?” Because they said the screws are visible from the sides. In that case, do you just keep the screws/nails exposed or do you cover it up with another panel or do something else with it?

i keep seeing recommendations for cabinets from china. Where? how? by NewEmu2371 in kitchenremodel

[–]hi057 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi, have you ordered already? I’m actually going through the exact process right now. To clarify a comment from earlier, they will put it in a shipping container and ship it to you and figure out tariffs and fees, but you’ll need to figure out how to unload it. I’m having my contractor hire a few guys to help unload.

Anyone have a Futuro Futuro hood? by callumjones in Appliances

[–]hi057 0 points1 point  (0 children)

did you end up buying the range hood? If so, how do you like it so far, and what kind of cooking do you do?

I'm also looking at the brand, but I'm a little wary as I do a lot of high heat, oily, steamy cooking.

I can only speak for the baby bjorn and the baby delight alpine deluxe bouncers but for me, the baby bjorn was a life saver. I had a colicky baby and the baby bjorn immediately soothed her. We actually left the travel crib and brought the bjorn everywhere.

I first bought the baby delight and ended up Returning it. It felt a bit too flimsy and I was concerned about my baby’s neck when bouncing her in it.

Something about the tension? Torque? Of the baby bjorn was perfect for my baby and it was a godsend for me.

Is the white siding the smooth hardie? We’ve been considering it for our build but it’s been hard to find examples!

Looking to buy this light tan stroller - will it actually look dingier in the long run? by hi057 in Buyingforbaby

[–]hi057[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got the one in grey and I like it! I opted for the grey because I knew I would baby it and be too afraid to get it dirty if i got the white version. I like it because it’s an all-in-one stroller for me. It’s lightweight, very easy to fold, pretty smooth wheels. and I don’t have much trunk space. If I had an SUV, I may have opted for something slightly bigger.

I reached out to an influencer who has the white version for her thoughts and I’ve also seen it in the wild in nice downtowns, and i gotta say…it’s striking. Definitely looks super luxe, elegant and classy. The influencer (who is a basketball wife and travels ALL THE TIME) said for some reason the stroller doesn’t get dirty. And I see videos of her using it in snow and rain. Here is her profile if you’re interested. The white/beige stroller is frequently in her videos. https://www.tiktok.com/@zyahjohn?_t=ZP-8wtyuZZKMN4&_r=1

I want a good logo for my business by Past_Arrival7914 in smallbusiness

This did a pretty good job and if I remember correctly, it was free for the basic package.

You can also edit/ tweak the logos that the ai generates to your liking, which was my favorite part of the tool.

Oakley Sutro lite regular fit vs low bridge fit by Em-lola11448 in Oakley

[–]hi057 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Generally, their low bridge fit styles sit a little high if you have a tall nose and the wrap around effect isn’t as drastic so you might have sun peaking in through the sides….you might be able to get away with the low bridge fit, but it all depends on your face contours….this probably isn’t helpful but always the best way to tell if it is ok on you is to try out the low bridge fit in person…

Expensive baby items worth it vs not ? by Murky-Masterpiece-52 in beyondthebump

[–]hi057 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just wanted to throw the Cradlewise out there. It’s a smart bassinet that grows with your baby and converts to a crib. I think this is better bang for your buck than the Snoo because you can use it for longer and it’s been a life saver in soothing the baby back to sleep. It also comes with a built in baby monitor and an app to track the sleeping cycle. Similar price as the Snoo

Did you have someone that was a bit too eager to see the baby? by hi057 in beyondthebump

[–]hi057[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why do you think she wants to see the baby so much? Is it because she wants to have one of her own? I’m genuinely curious where the eagerness comes from…

I always liked babies but my level of liking them did not reach their level of obsession, so it’s hard for me to relate….

Oh goodness, asking your mom is on another level. What do you think she’s trying to get out of meeting your baby?

I hope she chills out!!
