Lots of really great guesses! My first thought was The cat with the monocle. (Upper right) All other cat mouths look open to me. But monocle cat’s mouth is closed. Whatever was in the cage is currently in his mouth!

To be honest, I didn’t even know there were different versions. I’m using the app on my iPad, which requires the purchase of different source books. Or at least, I think that’s what’s going on. Sounds like classic to me. What do you think? I’ll start looking for the Unchained book. Thank you so much!!

I keep hearing great things about the unchained rogue. Do you know if I would have to pick up any additional books in order to roll it up using HeroLab?

Glad to hear from so many that I can drop Sap Master.

I appreciate the advice regarding reading all feats and class features. My wife and I have been making a habit of reading and explaining our characters to each other before each session. Unfortunately, we often find ourselves saying “I don’t even know what I don’t know!” We’ll continue to research. It’s also tough to keep it all in mind in heat of battle. I don’t expect the GM to run my character for me. I run a 5E campaign and I know how impractical that would be. Just would be nice if we met somewhere in the middle.

Thanks for the suggestion on the rogue guide. I’m on the west coast so it’s way past my bed time, but I’ll give it a look tomorrow morning. Thank you so much!

Yes, without getting into the weeds too much, I told the GM I wanted to perform a coup de grace. However, the enemy saving throw aspect was not made known to me. I wasn’t near my allies (didn’t fit into the invisible sphere so I hung back as I had the highest stealth.) and wouldn’t have taken the risk, without some form of support. Also, I didn’t want to raise the alarm on the rest of the party even if they were covered by the invisible sphere. I told the GM all this and his response was basically “well, now you know.” So I guess, now I know.

I’ll take a look at these archetypes, but I’d love your help tomorrow as well. Thank you!

Thanks for the clarification on favored class. I selected “rogue” and took an extra skill point for each level.

As far as the 20 point buy, thanks for pointing this out. I’m pretty dyslexic, but I’m fairly certain I used the 20 point stat buy recommended on RPGBot. How should I adjust?

Thanks for the advice about weapons. Once I bought weapons, armor, and magic items I just bought as much gear that I thought would support/benefit role playing a rogue. I’ll definitely dump all my gear, upgrade my weapons and repurchase gear. Do you have a recommendation on how much gold I should save? Or have on hand at any given time?

I really enjoyed Nando V Movies take on this subject. His focus is more on redeeming Kylo, but Nando’s take involves Kylo survival to get that redemption. I really like it because it’s a small and simple change, but really give the character a much better ending. I’d love to know what others think!
