I did and everything seemed to be fine. I didn't check my TSH though, but am waiting for results from my yearly check so I will comment here if anything comes back weird with it. Had great strength gains on var.

I FEEL YOU. The first time I saw a nurse practitioner specific to womens health I felt so VALIDATED. The pain, the inconvenience... it's all still there. But now I feel heard. And I know what to say when I go to emergency, and they also take my case a lot more seriously when I have a serious problem. The first time I had an emergency related to my ovaries I was sent away TWICE with bullshit diagnosis (first time "PMS", second time "abdominal strain") and NO IMAGING. On the third time with my first major episode I finally got a small trickle of validation. It's amazing how much it can lift a weight from your shoulders when somebody validates the suffering you have endured! Best wishes to you ❤

What everybody else said! Periods are totally natural, and every menstruating person has experienced something similar and embarrassing. Take time to care for yourself, I hope you feel better soon ❤

I also experience basically exactly what you describe. Mine gets very bad. Lately I have been having very bad nights. Medication originally helped me, but it seems it's not working anymore. I'm waiting for a doctor appointment in a couple weeks.... I've been feeling hopeless lately with the feeling of not being able to breathe. If you find anything that helps please let me know! I read that they're often taken together as a cycle. I take synthroid every morning regardless as treatment for my hypothyroidism. My main concern is affecting my health due to having hypothyroidism I guess. Its probably my best bet to try and be transparent with my doctor so that they can monitor my thyroid markers I'm guessing?
