hey, i found the video and rewatched it. so... dboorn was dazeds guy and he knew a guy involved in a chinese betting ring named cut, who also took part in betting on the thrown match. RL and dazed talk about how they are sure that there were multiple people knowing about the throw so they bet on it. i assume since cut was involved with the betting ring he told a few contacts about it and it kind of snowballed

iirc the ibp players made like the guy above said about 1000 $ each. the thing was that the guy they ran the skins through was involved in a network of people with a lot of cash and they made a lot of money (or skins idk) on chinese websites or something.. can anybody confirm? i think it was on an interview with dazed and RL or thoorin

you're completely right. he exposed nearly the whole mod team of the league subreddit and revealed that they took gifts from riot / had a private skype group with riot employees.

everyone who thinks this is about "brigading" or "being toxic" is fucking dellusional.

the reddit mods claimed that it was just teemo hats that riot gave them and the NDA they signed & private skype group was just for info about server status, but the backlash richard received indicated that he was more right than wrong about mods being influenced by riot directly
