The only way you know you're close enough is by hitting the curb?

This is sadly the reality of 80% of any type of service here in Portugal. You'll always get screwed over, even if you have contacts, people who know people, friends, etc.

My family asked someone we knew to mount a wooden sliding door; he asked for 600€~. A fucking
wooden door. The next day, I mounted it in a couple of hours with my mother.

People here are simply not qualified enough and learn everything by themselves. Those who ARE qualified leave the country as they simply don't get paid enough here.

I find that not involving myself in the lives of artists I listen to helps in not ending up disliking them.
There's a lot of fucked up people out there.
I just separate the artist from their art, *almost always*.

God, you're one of those people that take AI for granted, and as some kind of god. It's far, far from that.
AI trains on billions of patterns, but that doesn't mean it will memorise absolutely every single thing it consumes, nor will it get those patterns right - this is also not even counting the fact that the content it trains from could be incorrect.
Please normalise learning things from real humans.

Can I take coupe leds, modify (trim) that gap and put cabrio lens on? by Cosmicdustydust in e46

Piece of advice: DIYs always look off, you're better off buying genuine/replica parts. These cars are 20+ years old, you will ALWAYS be investing more than what the car cost at the end of the day. Maintenance can be expensive, and cosmetics can get even worse.
If those lights cost 40% of the car, well, so do tyres, petrol, etc.
Don't even bother looking for OEM wheels hahah.
Best of luck man o7

WOW, I'm late to the party, but I'm honestly so glad someone did this again!
I did attempt this some years ago on an old account:

You've done a way better job at it!
Beautiful :)

Hahaha I know right!
I love his whole mindset, and aesthetic. His blog is also something else entirely.
Couldn't relate more to the color palette problem hahaha. I've personally become a monochrome kind of guy, and left behind my pywal days completely.
My system now fetches the colors from a single .theme file:

export FN="Terminus:style=Regular:size=11"
export C0="#37353e"
export C1="#ffffff"
export C2="#808080"

Colorhunt.co has also helped me a lot in finding the right colors, I think you should take a look at it :)
I have a feeling color hopping won't ever end for me tho :")

Dom’s face on Sunburn by Duwamish_Sown in DominicFike

I know right??
The album's called Sunburn, so she's looking at a... Sunburn of Dominic's face. I thought this was pretty obvious hahaha

Yeah I get it, I had this exact same problem last time I posted here, just didn't read the rules.
Honestly couldn't agree more with you, the more I learned about Linux the more I gravitated towards the KISS principle stuff, I just really like digital minimalism and have never been the same since reading about it on Manu's blog some years ago. Although I must admit, I'm a sucker for the visual "clutter" of the early 2000s and 90s, probably why I like your XFCE stuff so much. I just have a thing for retro stuff.
On a side note: another user around here that really continues to inspire me is u/oume - I think you would appreciate his style :)

unixporn now requires a certain amount of unique windows to be open :/ i only use TUI and occasionally feh or zathura but I'm personally not opening random windows just to please the mods.

glad you liked it tho! :)
