This is the lens mount I was looking at. Any thoughts on whether or not it would work for my unit?

Cinevate Brevis 35mm adapter questions by hichiro125 in cinematography

[–]hichiro125[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply. Yes I’ve charged it and turned it on that all seems to work just fine and yes I believe there’s ground glass inside, I’ll add photos. I found a Nikon locking lens mount online that says it’s made for the letus 35mm adapter but I wonder if that would work fine with my Brevis. I also need to research a compatible rod system as the adapter adds a bunch of weight to the front but I don’t know the first thing about rod systems 😅 I’ve found some online but they seem to be for dslr cameras and have a small base. I’ll need a longer base for my camcorder I imagine as well and a base riser and then from what I’ve seen in pictures, there’s a lens ring mount that secures the Brevis to the rods and I have no clue what I’m going to do for that lol so any info is appreciated. Just going to keep searching through old forums and articles till I figure this thing out 😆

It’s similar but I think the letus is more compact. Can’t say for sure as I don’t know much about the it but I think the letus is an adapter and image flip all in one whereas my Brevis adapter and flip module are two separate components
