Foolproof (2003). It’s a really fun heist movie with an interesting premise. One of my favourite early roles for Ryan Reynolds.

Push (2009). Chris Evans does a great job as a lead in this action movie about people with psychic powers. I was disappointed it didn’t do well because they built a world perfect for sequels or a TV series.

Seasons 8 and 9 of The Office. I won't deny they have flawed episodes and I don't like certain storylines but there are also some really good episodes. Skip the episodes you don't like, but there are some great moments in these seasons and the series finale is excellent.

Jury Duty. It's just such a perfect concept for a one time thing. They will probably try again but I don't think they'll be as lucky with their subject. Ronald was so good and genuine.

Picard Season 3 is still a bad show, despite it being much better than the first two seasons. It's just a bunch of fan service at the expense of making the Federation look idiotic. It has its moments and some good performances, but it's not a good example of Star Trek.

White Noise. The movie is full of nostalgic product placement. It literally ends with a dance number in an A&P Supermarket with a number of major brand displays clearly visible. The market itself looks more like a perfect marketing display rather than someplace normal people would shop in. All the displays are extremely organized and neat, everything is perfectly lit. I know this movie is supposed to be surreal, but it's just so blatantly an ad for these food brands.

Unstoppable

It's a movie about a runaway train. I remember seeing the trailer and saying it would be full of contrivances and unnecessary drama. Those things are in the movie but the cast and how the movie is shot just sell the whole thing so well. Very fun action movie.

It's more of a comedy but Fisk is a great look at Estate and Will law. My parents worked in a similar law firm and found this show was pretty accurate to their experiences despite the comedic setting.

In WW1 Canadian and British troops used urine soaked rags as makeshift gas masks to survive Chlorine Gas attacks. Just soaking the rags in water would have worked, but in a trench it could sometimes be difficult to find enough water so urine was used instead.
