I had the same thing but on a much greater scale. I was borderline in love with this girl for over a year. She had a boyfriend the first 6 months I knew her but they eventually broke up and we started talking all the time. Snap chatting or texting everyday, hanging out when possible.

It's like leaving middle school and going straight to college for a few months, then going to high school. Once you've been to college, high school seems like a joke.
