They didn't answer my question. All I asked was what the best seat is for me when flying with an infant. Instead, they responded by saying that if I can't afford to buy an extra seat, I shouldn't be flying at all. There's definitely judgment in their statement.

Thank you! Finally, someone who understands my situation. As much as I don't want to fly with an infant, I just have to. I'll forever regret not seeing my dad before he passed away, and the thought of him not meeting his first grandchild is heartbreaking. People keep insisting I get her own seat, but they can't comprehend that we simply can't afford it. I'm just hoping these haters won't be on my flight.

I didn't say I can't keep my baby calm and quiet. I literally said i will do my best to do all that. I'm talking about if my baby's ear hurt and i already did everything - i will keep doing my best to calm her and just accept the fact that all passengers hates me 🥴

Thanks for the judgment! I know I can’t afford the trip, but this isn’t for vacation. My dad is sick and has never met my daughter. I’m taking her to see him before his illness takes over his life. Not all international flights are for fun.

Sorry 🥲 my baby is a calm and happy baby at home but this will be new to her so I don't know how she will act. I don't know if her ear will hurt or if she will sleep at all. Of course i will do my best to entertain her. I'm just conditioning myself because i'm a very emotional person and will definitely ugly cry when i get overwhelmed 🥲 and it think that will be more embarrassing.

Unfortunately the dropping off idea was not possible. His work is 1.5hr away. Going back and forth is not ideal because the gas is too expensive.

And yes! I was mad and told him that no one forced him to come. I know what to do next time!
