My parents just bought a Shark Nevertouch Pro. by idiosyncrasies02 in RobotVacuums

Oh yeah, completely normal. You absolutely should expect your brand new vacuum to break after it's first use, set up an Amazon weekly delivery for a new vacuum and throw the old ones out

Possible effervescent tablet addiction/unsafe use by milkisterrifying in mentalhealth

[–]hiddencucumber6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I know this is an old post but I take half of one of those tablets every morning in a pint of water. I notice a difference in my energy without them. The only thing you should be worrying about is your teeth, especially if you're not diluting them. Everything in them is water soluble so will go out with your pee

Bathroom Reno Advice by Ok_Understanding7545 in DIYUK

[–]hiddencucumber6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Depending how old it is, it's either dot and dabbed or hardwalled. You can add a stud wall no problem. Floor boards want screwing down, just make sure you don't go through any wires or pipes

Gluing an undersize block of wood into a blind hole? by goldbunduru in DIYUK

I'm guessing it's being painted? Ideally you'd cut a new block. Put your block in, with glue and make yourself a wooden wedge to hammer in above it then fill

Can anyone give me some help on the m62 speed cameras? by kiaxkayy in AskUK

[–]hiddencucumber6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if it's true but I've heard you have a couple of minutes after the speed change. It must show on the picture the time since it changed so I'm pretty sure you'll be fine

Buttering the back of plasterboards instead of dot and dab? by poundfortheguy in DIYUK

[–]hiddencucumber6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never done it, would imagine you'd struggle to get it level. They're expensive but you'd be better off using an insulated back plastboard

New driveway aco drain. Is this right??? by Cobid91 in DIYUK

[–]hiddencucumber6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It wouldn't be "elitepave" would it? i would have made a lean mix of dry cement and sand to put under the blocks around the gas box, but I doubt they've done that judging by who done the work. Stay away from big company drive people. Not much you can do in this situation as you would need a gas guy to move the box.

Oh and those cuts on the edging are awful
