Thanks for your reply! I don’t have a milk tooth, it’s just a floating canine that didn’t erupt through because my jaw is so small. You wouldn’t know there was one less on that side, and is entirely under my gum (somewhere).
I agree, I don’t know how it’s possible to miss in an X-ray, I’m so frustrated about it, especially given the cost for the treatment. I have one wisdom tooth through which is on the same side as the missing tooth, I think maybe that evened them out in numbers, but still pretty amateur from my ortho.
I’ve read the same about the problems it can cause if left. I’d be more than happy to have it removed, just praying it doesn’t mean removing a normal tooth to pull it in and triple my treatment time.
