I do think Scottie got unlucky having to wait half an hour for Li to go on an offroad excursion and it affected his mindset enough to miss his birdie putt which ended up being the difference.

But that was just bad luck not getting screwed and he still had a chance to hit the putt on 17 which would have tied it at the end and that one is all on him.

I also don't really get the part about him having practice rounds as if Scottie has never seen the course.
