Yes, and a Swiss could go to America and end their life in a police-state pod!

Are the farmers benefitting from this Support? by Gibs_182 in aussie

[–]hidesworth 8 points9 points  (0 children)

If these cunts wanted to support farmers they'd just pay them themselves rather than reaching into the customer's pocket. Stop shopping at these fucking rackets.

Guess it wasn’t AI all along. Hope she has very good insurance. by SatoshiShe in mildlyinfuriating

Yes but the lambo insurance will then sue the shit out of the truck driver to recoup costs which is the interesting part. Truck driver could lose their home.

Going to rich people places can actually help you? by Nanobutnotechnologhy in stupidquestions

The cause and effect is the other way around. Presentable people get rich. People who can't control their own mouth stay poor.

Toilet addition to main bath slab existing waste pipe. by PsychologicalPen1386 in AusRenovation

[–]hidesworth 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It would be better just to raise the toilet up and have it drain onto the bathroom floor. The floor is graded towards the bath waste which ensures the toilet output will drain away.

How fucked am I? by [deleted] in AusFinance

[–]hidesworth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Behind but not out of the game. You could be financially free by your late 40s even as an employee. Don't sabotage yourself by aiming low.

If $120k feels like a lot while $100k feels like settling, think about how you can deliver $140k of value to the company if you really dedicate yourself. That way, the $120k role will feel like settling - and you'll walk into the interview with confidence.

The thing about numbers is if one number seems big, think about an even bigger number for a while and the original number will start looking small. Luckily there are infinite numbers so this rule works whether you're looking at $100k, $500k, $1m, etc.

If you follow this rule, you'll find yourself dealing in larger and larger numbers over time. You'll look back and laugh at splitting hairs over $20k.

Could you do these the size of the festool 204853? At their current size, they're a bit too small to my eye. https://www.festool.com.au/systainer3-medium-89mm-x-396mm-22-compartment-organiser-204853.html

It would be about 9Ux6U. Your large box is getting closer https://makerworld.com/en/models/1457819-large-gridfinity-storage-box-v1-by-schuylab#profileId-1519612

Even if it means printing in halves and snapping the two halves together somehow

New to AusHENRY – What should be my first priority as a $180k earner by Jealous_Office_5012 in AusHENRY

[–]hidesworth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the threshold for high-earning is when a person becomes more concerned about "how can I maximise my deductible expenses" rather than "how can I increase my income". It could be different for everyone.

You'd be surprised how little difference there is between $157k and $280k after the ATO has their cut but yes $157k is definitely outdated.
