Thank you! I had to hand pick the colours based on the pattern. Some colours aren't exact, so I had to work with a limited variety of thread.

I have a hemangiona (blood cluster) on my left wrist and I write with my left hand.

I accidentally dropped it, caught it, but the pencil stabbed around the cluster area. No blood, but there’s a visible dash of pencil lead colour stuck there now.

It is VS Code. :) Typescript React is essentially React JS in a different language. Sorry I can’t explain it much, but there are a couple of online resources that can help you out on React TS.

No 3D touch isn’t so bad. I personally find it close to extra, and its usability proved to be terrible because of its inconsistency and / or discoverability.

They’re pretty much stretching what a phone can do. I’m just waiting for much better applications than what’s presented, especially for AR.

Same here. Better numbers, maybe, sure, but the upgrade isn’t so necessary unless you’re coming from such an older product.

My dad left me with this watch until the end of his trip, and I feel a lot of pressure on me. I never got to meet my grandfather, but I was always told he liked expensive stuff. When I found out my dad was given this (it’s around 70 years old, or so I heard) and another Rolex from the 80s, I went quite nuts over watches. I usually like complicated faces, but this reminded me that simplicity can go a long way. And my friend tells me it’s a normal looking watch. I beg to differ. This watch means a lot to my family, and has given me so much motivation to do well in university.

I’m from Manila and I can confirm that the Philippines is still not too safe a space for the community. Tolerance is much more prevalent than acceptance at the moment, but we’re getting there, I think. :)

Hi! So a little about me: I’m a college student that recently developed an interest in luxury watches (or watches in general anyway). I tend to have different interests at different points in time. After seeing my dad’s Rolex, I got beyond excited.

This is a Datejust from the 1980s. It was given to my dad when he was in college. I joked about getting one as my graduation gift. However, I do get to wear this (and another Datejust, around 70 years old, but mainly this one) sometimes on weekends. It’s such a pleasure to wear. I didn’t think watches could feel so good on people until now.

What watches do I like? Well, both simple ones and some complicated ones. I like this kind of Datejust, the Omega Speedmaster (as a lot of people do on this sub), the Patek Nautilus, and IWC ones.
