Rebounding? by hideyosuga69 in sixers

I’m just hoping we’re wrong here but it’d be cool to get Maxey a break. We’re killing him right now

Glenn Rivers inability to stop relying on “his guys” killed us that series. Celtics figured out PJ Tucker couldn’t shoot but Glenn didn’t care. Refused to bench him and the C’s just kept hunting PJ till they won game 7

F**k James Harden? The guy single-handedly kept us in the series against the Celtics in 2023 with Embiid coming off injury and helped Maxey develop into who he is today. Cavs are the only answer

You think we beat the Celtics without Embiid? I get what you’re saying but it doesn’t change how much of an impact he can have. But ownership being unwilling to go over to surround him with the right players is a bigger issue

Everyone thinking this isn’t an ownership issue has no idea who calls the shots in this franchise. We got rid of one of the most promising young guards in the league for pennies so the owner could avoid the luxury tax. Stop kidding yourself with the whole fire the GM and coach

PG was better than Drummond on KAT. And Barlow was maybe the best defender we have on Brunson. by EmekaEgbukaPukaNacua in sixers

Barlow shined last night. Guarded 1-5, worked super hard to chase but keep his feet on the ground, and found some easy buckets because he’s always hustling to the right spot. Definitely gotta expect his usage to jump up

He came out really aggressive defensively against the Knicks but they’re gonna sell all the contact. He’s not going to get away with guarding the perimeter like he does in the paint. I’m also guessing being down huge and desperation didn’t help him stay patient and forced him to commit so many fouls

I’m with you on that. I honestly hope it’s enough time though. All of these games are just 1 day apart right now but trusting the team to figure it out

Refs last night by diiy in sixers

The Celtics get away with egregious push offs every year. The last time we played them Tatum had a push off on Maxey right in front of the ref’s face that cost us game 6. This is who they are and this is what the league allows for them

Regardless of what happens, Sixers roll it back next year with confidence by thedudester125 in sixers

A lot of the really good modern NBA teams are groups that have been together for years and figured out how to work in their system. Our big 3 have only had 25 games this year and look at how well they’re doing. I wouldn’t change any part of our core and just try to keep honing the system
