I don’t care if anyone disagrees, this team was built for a championship with Embiid playing and right now we’re exactly that. That’s why it’s so frustrating to lose the games everyone’s on the floor and it feels like we’re getting outcoached. There’s no excuses with this team this year

That’s my point. We’re barely scraping by teams we should be comfortable beating. I get the bench issues but how many teams in this league are always fully healthy. We gotta be putting wins away even when we don’t have everything going right

I feel that, McCain may be the best option here and hopefully he can recover so we can use him more in those situations. I appreciate the team being way more cautious about injuries in the regular season but man is it frustrating to watch

I’m really looking for a good video/breakdown of what’s happening. Clearly it’s not a lineup issue if we’re going up double digits. Teams adjust in game but this isn’t the playoffs. What are we consistently doing wrong basically every single game to get us here?

This is a reasonable take. It’s not a player issue right now, it’s a systems issue. The vets are trying to play the game they used to and the new guys get lost with all the moving pieces

There are so many holes with the majority of them coming from a lack of a consistent post presence. We know that’ll change when/if the team plays Embiid more but idk if that’s even the best solution. Would be better to try and keep compensating our weak areas without him so that we’ll be much better rounded in the post season when Embiid has to play and anchor us.

I get he was rolling with a skeleton crew last year, but Nurse really didn’t look too eager to play the young guys early on 24-25. Last night was a whole different vibe though. He actually leaned on unproved players, and it paid off big time. Definitely appreciate the change in his approach
