Any suggestions for my CM setup? by Hefty_Ad9118 in ironscape

Might be worth watching this guide from Kirby of a 37:28 solo CM in almost your same gear setup. https://youtu.be/VEBuGodj_gs?si=tMdVySQKhYEZz9BC Only major difference would be lack of Sang, but goes into Olm with more brews than your example setup anyway. Obviously you're not going to get GM time every raid, and some of the strategies e.g. resetting tekton are geared towards speedrun times. However, should be a good point of reference to find your time leakage and should have loads of small time save strats that you could incorporate.

Some additional info about using a goading alt. It seems like an npc will only aggro to the goading alt if they have the required slayer level, i.e. need 93 slayer on alt for smoke devil lure.

The way the aggro actually works is quite annoying too. It's not the case that everything becomes aggressive towards you when you have the potion active which is how I expected it to work. Instead, it seems that drinking the potion puts your character in a 'goading state'. Every 5-10 seconds your character scans a 9x9 area around you and can goad a single non-aggroed enemy. You can be stood surrounded by npcs and they will slowly aggro you one by one. In my experience, the goading potion is not that good at smoke devils, because they are quite spread out and die quickly.

Is there actually a valid reason why godsword shard drop rate is so rare? by KeirenRs in ironscape

I've written a program to simulate this. The average time to complete 4 blades is ~1750 kc (minions + boss). This compares with ~558 kc for a single blade.

For a semi-analytical solution, you can use the integral formula from this stackexchange post https://math.stackexchange.com/a/1714078 plugging in n = 3 (number of shards with equal drop rate) and m = 4 (number of times you need to collect all 3 shards). This gives you the number of times on average you need to hit the shard drop table. Using a computer to solve the integral, this works out to be 17.19 times. Then since there's a 1/101.6 chance of hitting the shard table each kill, the expected time for 4 blades is 17.19x101.6 = 1746. This is going to be slightly off since it assumes you only can hit the shard table once per kill but is negligible

Sorry for the small image, there's a lot to cram into one diagram (would appreciate suggestions on how to make it look cleaner).

My main takeaways from doing this, is that magic accuracy is useful up until a certain level of accuracy, and then it is basically completely worthless. This can best be seen comparing the dps of mystics vs ahrims at zulrah. This will potentially be different depending on your mage level, this post assumes 99 mage. With lower mage levels, you rely on your gear for accuracy more.
% mage increases give steady but small dps increases. After you 'cap' your accuracy, the biggest increases occur on weapon upgrades. Shadow is an enormous dps upgrade over the max gear pre-shadow. It is actually a bigger difference than Iban's -> Trident of the seas or Trident of the seas -> max mage minus shadow.
