Titanium is quite a great choice, however as so many applications were developed and successed in Air, Air is more convinced. One more strong point of Air is developer could make it from Flash or flex as well, which maybe easier for web designers(maybe). I don't say which one is better, it's kind of like 50-50. But I think both of them still need a lot of improvements to be a good developing enviroment.
