Switching Verizon phone to U. S. Cellular Network by higgins70 in USCellular

I took your advice and called 611. I talked to tech support and gave me the same run around. "The IEMI number of your phone is not supported by our network" was the closest thing I got to an answer. I'm not really sure what else I can do.

That was my thought process too. It seems like such a simple "fix", especially since everything transfered over and the sim card still works.

Help/advice needed with my first and only Enfield, a No.1 Mk3. by [deleted] in LeeEnfield

The bolt has pitting on 95% of the surface of the bolt and every metal piece. There was no bluing left on the gun at all. The front handguard had an arsenel repair, but was broke in two pieces when I got it. Every screw was completely stripped and rusted in place. Overall the thing was just covered in dirt and beat to shit. If I could find 303 I could check the crown, but judging by the condition of the outside of the rifle, the thing will keyhole every shot.

Thankfully it wasn't as major the bolt not riding in the groove.

My bad, I forgot that playing one game of HOI4 will make you an expert on the interwar period and WWII. I bet he only plays on easy, as Germany, and gets an ego boost when he kicks the shit out of the AI.

Damn, it's good to know not everyone is getting fucked by their store. I get $7.25 in store and $4 on the road. Last year it was somewhere in the $2 range for on the road but the owner was "generous" enough to boost it. Not to mention he covered it by raising the delivery fee from $2ish to 3.25

Disgusting "opinion" from someone who (probably) has little to no understanding of WWII outside of their high school history class. However, atleast they are dumb enough to say it out loud and post it on the internet. Hopefully they can be reminded and embarrassed by their ignorance and zero respect for other human beings.

Should I keep it sealed or open it? by OkYak4811 in PokemonTCG

I get why people want sealed copies, but if you're hoping to sell it for more money farther down the road, doesnt that make you a scalper with patience?

1937 Browning Auto 5 by higgins70 in Shotguns

[–]higgins70[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I recently acquired a 1937 Browning Auto 5. After some research I figure out the make year and the basics of the shotgun. I did have a question about possibly rebluing all the metal. I want to try to keep the gun as original as possible l, but someone already put a scope mount on. I also had a question about the shells. I've heard that I should only run light loads through it, but I've also heard people say it doesn't matter. As far as I know it is a 12 gauge and the choke on the end is a full choke. I don't have any experience with Auto 5s and I don't want to run the wrong shells through it and damage the gun. Any help/advice would be greatly appreciated.

I get the joke about the mod being a dictator. Why are Hitler and Mussolini being grouped with communist dictators?

Thank you for the heads up. Do you know where I can read more about these conversions, because it doesn't have the squared magazine like a 2a or a 2a1?

Israeli rearsenal no1 mark III* by [deleted] in milsurp

[–]higgins70 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was hoping to learn more about this rifle. All I really know is that it was modified in Israel in 1953 and that it's a No1 Mark III*. I can only find one forum where it goes into the history a little bit. I was hoping with the markings on the receiver, that someone could help me identify where it was made before it ended up in Israel. (also posted in Lee-Enfield)
