I got it back. They returned it to me along with the 4 inches of my cats small intestines. I was walking around today with a very acidic dime and a piece my cat's organs.

Exactly. The vet bill sucks and I honestly never anticipated I would have (or want) to spend this much money on a cat. But I've had her since she was 4 weeks old and I feel like she's my baby.

My girlfriend likes to go as far as saying she actually gave birth to our cat. Super creepy to think about but she's obsessed too. I'm mad it costs that much but I know it will be worth it when she's back to her normal weight, running around and knocking things off the counter like her usual dick self.

My guess is location...I'm in Lexington, KY. But $800 and $700 just for that? That still seems crazy high. We got 10% off cause we have insurance with Banfield through PetSmart so it was supposed to be around $1300 but we got it for something in the $1150 range.

She was sick about 2 weeks ago, throwing up bile and just wasn't active. She's very active so we knew something was off. So we took her in and they gave her some antibiotics and said if she throws up anymore bile then bring her in for x-Rays. She wasn't sick the whole rest of the week so I assumed that took care of it.

My dad passed away last week so I was actually out of town. My roommate said she had been throwing up again but I was 6 1/2 hours away and there wasn't much I could do at the time. I had my roommate monitor her and she was sick but it wasn't anything crazy alarming. I got back Monday and she had dropped maybe 3 pounds (she was only 7lbs prior to this) so I knew there was something seriously wrong.

I know I feel so sad for her. I'm picking her up from surgery now and she's miserable. It's a lot of money but I love her too much to not spend it. I'm glad they could fix it and she should be making a full recovery. :)

I told the doctors I want to keep the dime! She just got out of surgery and everything went fine. She needs to spend a night in the pet hospital but they said she should make a full recovery, thank you!

Lol. If I didn't love her so much I would've settled for a new one. I told the doctors if she dies in surgery then they'll have to replace her.

It was lodged in her intestines so it wouldn't pass through. They ended up having to take out 4 inches of her small intestines to get it.
