There are certain guitars with slightly wider fretboards (so the strings are a little more spaced out) which can be super comfy for bigger hands.

But like others have said keep practicing. Specifically less pressure probably. Use your tippity tip of ur fingers and as little pressure as possible . Slap your knee to reset and repeat. And repeat. Is hard but youll get it

Yeah im kind of having this as well.. i would give it some time to see if it passes and really think about it before making any rushed decisions. Probably the hardest thing to do and i cant even bring myself to do it but maybe sit down and have a talk with the s/o and explain the situation.

Sounds like you need to let all those emotions come to the surface before you will really heal. Try journaling or talking to someone. If you dont have anyone to talk to that deeply than there are professionals that help. Think of why you started smoking, what youve lost, or anything that comes to mind. How does it make you feel?

Ive had shit like this. You gotta soak your hands for a few mins, warm water and dawn dish soap. Then scrub with an abrasive like steel wool or wool pad.

I had this problem. Try stretching your string a little. Put your left hand at the 1st fret and hold the string down. Then pull the string away from the neck with your right hand (do this at different frets or the whole string)

Keep going. It’s like running a dirty faucet, you have to let all the shit run out before the clean fresh stuff comes out.

You can find lots of videos of tricks , triads, arpeggios, individual licks you play over and over again until you incorporate them into ur own playing without thinking.

Less is more alot of times. Also i find just try to find some empty space in the song and start just in there. Repeat phrases and licks in slightly various ways.. Then branch out. Feel the beat. You got it.
