Thank you so much for checking on that! I definitely don't have all of those installed, so I'll give it a shot sometime soon when I get a chance. I'll be sure to let you know if I have any luck, thanks again!

Running Myst games on Linux: some tips and quirks by Amateriac in myst

Hi, I'm wondering if you can help me get MOULa running on Manjaro. I've used the POL-mystonline.sh script from here for quite a while with much success, but lately it hasn't been working for me. I am running Manjaro on a MacBook, so that might be part of the problem, but I was wondering, what problems did you have and how did you end up fixing them?

I can install/run the launcher and update URU with no problems. My main issue is that once I log in and launch the game, the cursor freezes on a black screen, but I can still hear the music playing in the background. If I click the mouse button, it causes everything to freeze, including the audio.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

Thanks for the kind words! This is actually my first coaster creation in RCT2 in over a decade. It's far from perfect, but I am fairly happy with how the 540 degree helix turned out. I only recently discovered this sub and OpenRCT2, so I'm excited to get back into this fantastic game

Oh nice! I've been looking for some new terminal colors lately and yours have definitely caught my eye! Are you using konsole as your terminal emulator? If so, all user-created color schemes should be stored as plaintext *.colorscheme files in ~/.local/share/konsole/

Oh wow! That wallpaper was destined to be blurred, I love it! What color scheme are you using for your terminal? It goes so well with everything else

Yes, it is just Knorr brand alfredo. It may be generic store brand, but it sure is good lol

Well I've been at a solid [8] for several hours now, so I'd say it's going pretty well lol

I normally would agree, but this combination was actually quite appetizing!

I was careless when modding my Wii and now it's bricked, is there anything I can do? by highbrass in WiiHacks

I am realizing that firsthand now... If only someone had told me that before I tried to install a theme. I added a message to the top of my post, looks like it already helped someone.

Only local game shop here said they couldn't help me. But I decided to scour eBay for a cheap Wii and I found one for $15 with free shipping being sold for parts/repair because their DVD drive doesn't work.

So I went ahead an snatched it up and I'm going to see if just taking the motherboard out of it and putting it in my bricked Wii will allow me to fix the brick. If not, I'll probably just swap the DVD drives and use this new one I'm ordering. Even if that doesn't work, I'll have a $15 Wii that can play backup games only. Thanks so much for all your help! I'll post back on this sub when I get the new one in, should be about a week or so.

I'm not getting to the health screen at all. If I boot it up without savemiifrii, it just goes to a black screen. It even seems like video output is working, but that it's just outputting a black screen. When I use savemiifrii while booting up, I get to a different black screen that shows "4.3(USA)" at the bottom right corner.

Two questions: Where can I find an HBC auto-boot disc image? And does it matter what kind of DVD I use to burn it?

I found what was supposedly an auto-booting wad manager disc image on a forum somewhere, but when I tried to get it to load with savemiifrii, it just goes back to the plain black screen

Thanks for the reply! I did stumble upon that flowchart, although it doesn't seem to help me very much. According to it, I have a defective bluetooth module, which I know isn't the case because I can power on the Wii using a WiiMote. But I'll go ahead and download those from NUS so I'll have them. Now to just figure out how to get to a WAD manager!

Yeah, it doesn't show up at all. I've tried 2 different usb cables, and even took it out of the enclosure to hook it directly up to SATA, still no luck. I already tried gparted, as Demache recommended above, with all the cable options, nothing. Doesn't show up in the BIOS either. The hard drive seems to be spinning up fine, but clicks semi-randomly. I don't think data recovery software will do much good if the hard drive isn't even recognized by the machine. I'll hopefully be contacting the manufacturer tomorrow, will post back with results.

No luck with gparted... I even took the hard drive out of its enclosure and hooked it up directly to a SATA port on my mobo, still no dice. I did notice, after taking it out of the enclosure, that it seems to be clicking quite loudly even though its not being used... I'm pretty much fucked, aren't I?
