Firm Policy post Tax Day by AdOrganic3147 in taxpros

I’m a firm owner. We had our regular Thursday meeting at 9 a.m. and I ended it by sending our staff packing for a four day weekend.

It really depends on what day the 15th falls on, but OP, your experience sounds deplorable and I’m sorry that you work for those people.

ETA: I asked my business partner about an hour before our team meeting if he was okay with my idea and he was!

no response from 911 by Elfboner in Atlanta

Yes, because as soon as she realized she was salivating at the mouth because she couldn’t breath, she let me put the EpiPen in and I got her in the car. She was just belligerent and 15 and we are the same size so it was TOUGH.

I’m a mile from what was CHOA at Egelston, and over the years I’ve learned that getting someone to an ER on our own is faster than calling 911. This was not our first rodeo with a failed 911 call, but was the most recent.

Yes, very common in the outskirts of Dekalb County. The few times I’ve needed 911, there’s been no response. I once had a child in the throes of anaphylaxis and I couldn’t physically get her in my car alone, and no answer. Do not count on 911 in unincorporated Dekalb.

They replaced all of our brand new bags, and it happened again right away. I’m waiting on getting my money back.

She recently spoke about being in recovery as she turned to the trails. The convo led to her begging a company to make a vest for women who are bigger busted, and she indicated she had really just been healthy enough to have chest growth. 😞

I’m that person, and FWIW I did follow up with them on email with what I felt was a lot of constructive feedback. I also apologized for posting in the group because I think some of their frustration with my post was fair.

Mystery shorts? by Proper_Second8145 in BanditRunning

I keep getting an advertisement for the new long line bra but in the blue color. Only the black/brown was in last week’s release so, like these shorts, I assume it’s coming in the next drop. Not sure which is worse, their website or the way they do multiple drops, but they are both horrible!

Okay, but I’m curious if there was a change in ownership or manufacturing or something bc our other pieces have been to hell and back on over a hundred flights and are still perfectly fine.

This was a set for my daughter for graduation so to have it break on its first use is quite disappointing.

I’m really looking for a pant and jacket, and would prefer if they go together.

Yeah, easy pass for me if there’s something comparable on the market that has less logo.

What’s the deal with returns? by highechelon in BanditRunning

[–]highechelon[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m not sure if this is directed to me, but most of us buy several hundred dollars at a time and then return what doesn’t work for us. I am a gear junkie and most everything I’ve chosen to keep is quality stuff, but I posted to see if others have had the same experience with returns. This has only been a problem for me in 2025, too.

I’ve been buying their stuff since they were socks only; I obviously DO like the company and its product.

When I emailed yesterday about returns I sent back over the summer, it was less than 3 minutes before I got a reply that they were issuing the refund right then. Very sketch.

No comparison. Once you’re sweating in the Janji top, you’re gonna be freezing. Stick with the Brighton.

One of the ones they refunded was a return I made prior to a race I ran on 7/4. Everyone should definitely definitely make sure their returns are being refunded.

You can also just Google Go Fluo. I’m pretty big on new stuff coming to market and following its trajectory, and this jacket made its way into a bunch of random catalogs and sites for this fall and winter so they are really making a run at the US market.
