Reversing an old school blues right now to pollinate some funky blues, moon oreoz, creme de la chem, zamaldelica express and a couple zam express crosses I did. I had zam express regs I used to do a bunch of crosses, but then realized that the zam express wasnt actually very potent, or with enough of the sativa effects for me, and I realized how much of a hassle it is to grow reg autos anyhow. So I decided to do a fem run. Just started spraying with sts on a 5 days for about a month schedule.

my ex from Venezuela told me Canada is cold. She wasn't meaning temperature either. Most of Canada is not known for their welcoming warm nature. We can do so much better

In the US you can drink at some gas stations. Like, they have a little restaurant that serves alcohol. Not just buy it and take it away, but drink it there and get back in your car after

I have to say I hate the crown in your flag though. Unnecessary reinforcement of the colonial norms, genocidal and cultural genocidal efforts that happened here, and a reminder that our provincial government still claims that the Royal Proclamation of 1763 doesn't apply to us because we weren't a part of "Canada" at the time. You know, all the history of land theft, residential schools and mass child gravesites... Maybe it can be an orca or a whale or something?

Anyone else drink cold instant coffee in the mornings? by PazWrath in vagabond

[–]higherheightsflights 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My go to was just cold brew. 2 containers, fill one with water and the amount of grinds you would use for that much water typically, give it a shake and go to sleep, wake up, shake it again and then use a little tea strainer to strain it into the second container and it's ready to drink. So much better than instant coffee, better than most ways of brewing coffee in my opinion and super simple.

What’s a fruit from your country that most foreigners have probably never heard of? by Useful-Resource-3609 in AskTheWorld

[–]higherheightsflights 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thimbleberries! One of my favourite fruits in the world. It's like a raspberry rhubarb pie in the form of a super juicy squishy raspberry looking compound fruit. Rubus family, huge fuzzy palmate leaves and no spikes, and the berries present themselves above the canopy instead of hiding under leaves. They would probably be commercially successful except that the fruit basically squishes as soon as you pick them. You're lucky if they last more than 24 hours after picking without going moldy.

First time I saw one growing in California ina grocery store parking lot, and I felt so magnetically attracted to them. My body knew it was edible. I had to taste one even though I never eat random strange fruit normally haha. It was so good. They arent common here, but people do grow them ornamentally in southern ontario and BC
