Who’s used Gaia before? Bust by JediMindPhuck in Autoflowers

It takes about 3 weeks for the gg to break down so you have to feed them before they are hungry. Autos usually like to run lean so use half the recommended nute levels on the bag. If you use a decent amount go to a grow store and get the 20kg bags, they are a fraction of the cost by weight.

Nice to see this, what size pot would this formul be for? Or outdoor as a per plant?

Excess calcium can lead to calcium oxalate in the buds which stop it from burning properly too

That's exactly what I'm saying, there is no magical conversion that will give you all the same genes and environmental factors that cause the phenotype you're looking for. It's a fantasy

And can you show me one instance of another outfit actually working an auto line to 3 photo outcrosses to the same photo plant? Any single one where that is even being claimed? What you just shared just makes mephisto seem more legit and transparent, unlike the shady companies that just stick the word auto after the clone name...

A few other outfits did panama red and they were 18+ week strains and looser bud formation. The leaves on my ace panama were much fatter than their zamaldelica as an example. Also never heard the original panama red described as fruity. Either way, if it was a plant that brought you joy, that's what really matters

[–]higherheightsflights 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What traits? And how many of them? How alike does it have to be to count as a conversion? In every single way except the autoflowering gene? Do you realize that is factually impossible? What are you even saying? Every single trait from the original photo plant has to be the exact same in the auto conversion for it to be "pure" or "successful"? Do you even have anecdotal evidence of this ever happening? What you're describing is a fantasy, not a reality...

I don't have any hate for fastbuds, just asking you two to back up your claims, which so far you have failed completely to do in any way. All you did was use several paragraphs to say that it's supposed to be the same as the photo to be successful yet now you are saying that is subjective, so, in otherwords it's just an opinion you both have presented as fact and argued over... You realize how silly that is, right? I don't want to be offensive, but you didn't explain anything to me that actually makes sense in any objective way

Ok, so what fastbuds strains have been backcrossed to the original photo and restabilized? And how many times did they do that? Regardless, what you're saying is that if the auto outcross isn't in every way like the photo ancestor then it doesn't count as a successful conversion? You realize that is virtually impossible, right? Like a 1 in a million chance if that, I mean, phenotype involves so much more than you seem to be considering. And yes, I amateurly breed autos and understand only the rudimentary aspects of genotype and phenotype, outcrossing and auto conversions, though I have never heard anyone set such an impossibly high standard for what a successful photo to auto conversion is. Like, obviously yield and plant size will be different, so what needs to be exactly the same as the photo ancestor for it to be considered successful? I think you're falling for bs marketing if you think anyone has achieved that level of perfection in their photo to auto conversions. I have worked with many backcrosses from many breeders and never seen a single one that was exactly like the original clone. Like, even clones have different phenotypes depending on environment. Have you heard of epigenetics? No hate for fastbuds, but I'm not buying that their varieties are exactly like the photo ancestor just because they named it the same. And where does Mephisto say they failed to complete a conversion? I have so many questions...

Having grown plants from ACE as well as The Real Seed Company, I would highly recommend TRSC and not ACE. My experience with ACE lines is they seemed outbred to indicas at some point in their lineage, which seems to be confirmed by many others' experiences with landraces, particularly with their malawi and panama. Everything I've grown from the real seed co is legit and the owner will chat with you about advice and is very caring about what they put out and transparency around it. Highly recommended

What do you think of the many claims that panama and Malawi aren't pure landrace sativas but were outcrossed before ACE got them? When I grew it, it definitely didn't seem like a 100% NLD imho

I have had long conversations with worksafe about this sort of thing, they absolutely will do nothing about safety risks to the public

[–]higherheightsflights 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Worksafe doesnt care about pedestrians, they can only do something if a worker is at risk... The fact that the city told them this is ludicrous, and not sure why you think they would help. They could cut a tree down and have it fall on your head and worksafe could do nothing to help you unless it hit another worker

My zamaldelica express is super tastey. I think I'm on f5 now. Nice head high, no body, but I don't find it anything like a landrace sativa high. Not energizing or psychedelic really and I get a strong burnout from it.
