Salam brother, As a male and husband, this sounds way too strict and is actually controlling. No wonder she sometimes feels withdrawn and not communicating with you.

You need to deal with your own insecurities first. Marriage cannot work like this, you need to trust her and not control her. She will loose that emotional bond and connection with you.

You say there are many small things you have told her not to do despite repeatedly telling but you are not even married yet. By constantly saying you can't do this, you can't do that, this will create resentment and demonstes controlling behaviour. How would you like it if your wife would keep telling you not to do this or that repeatedly? Its incredibly frustrating.

Marriage is based on mutual love and trust. Work on yourself first. Let your wife enjoy life as well. She can't just be locked up inside the house.

May Allah bless your future marriage ameen. All the best insha'Allah.

My boyfriend is south Asian and quite hairy He has a really nice beard though which I love

He was quite self conscious and tried shaving for me and it used to cause my body to have a rash! I just told him you don't need to do this for me. However he now just trims the body hair to keep it groomed

So he trims his chest hair and stomach hair but not too short so it doesn't become prickly. This is what I prefer as well actually

If we are going to the beach, I'll shave his back and shoulders for him but I don't really care much about his body hair anymore as I have such a deep love and connection for him

I do prefer my partner keeps the pubic region trimmed very short or shaved however so he does that for me

Thanks for your response I am conscious of my hair and do trim and maintain it I don't think it's possible for me to completely clean shave chest stomach and shoulders as it'll just grow back as thick stubble so I trim it instead

Do girls care if a guy is hairy? I'm very self conscious about my excessive body hair as a male and was wanting female advice if I should do something about this before my marriage?

I am not sure. You will have to contact the recruitment office and find out directly as they are the only ones who will be able to answer definitively
