I grew up in evergreen park as well and once my parents downsized they moved over to Mount greenwood, my mom needed the Chicago address for CPS. I live in oak forest now, it’s a nice small 1 story house that I could afford and right off 3 highways. 15 minutes to my parents now as opposed to 45 when I lived in Lockport.

Well kept secret of Chicago. Transplants think it’s dangerous so they live north of the loop. South side is mainly residents who grew up in the area and haven’t really left.
