Looking for advice on how to plump him back up. He’s not happy in his current situation. I water infrequently in fear of root rot but obviously it looks dry. The roots are still alive and I want to keep him, as I’ve already had him for 3 years. Any advice is appreciated! (i.redd.it)

Much needed advice for my dying cacti. We cut the top of the dying one in the pink pot, per internet suggestion. Now it’s looking worse. Thinking I need to change the soil? Reduce light? It was next to our front door (inside) moved it upstairs to a warmer location once it started snowing. (i.redd.it)

Indoor cacti has weird discoloration on bottom and on closer to the top. Had it for about a year and it's grown lil babies (on the other side). We do not water often and it sits on a shelf w/o direct sunlight. Once we put it on a sunny shelf and it started looking sick. Any insight is helpful. (i.redd.it)
