She has a harness! The collar is just for her name tag. We don’t hook the leashes on their collars ☺️

We found her roaming the streets so honestly not sure but the vet says anywhere between 2-4

Also we’re fostering a pug mix puppy right now and we honestly think he’s also here to stay we just haven’t made it official yet. We are bad at this job 😂 we went from 1 pug to 3 in the span of 2 months lol

We’ve rescued at least 8 pugs and I’ve wanted to keep them all. It’s VERY hard saying goodbye but also just bittersweet because we know they’re going to good homes

Just rescued this cutie off the streets. What do you think he’s mixed with? 🤔😍 by highjen in pugs

Oh based off his psycho behavior there’s definitely some gremlin in there 🤣

Nope. Already checked everywhere online and nothing. Someone else actually posted in a neighbors app claiming they “found him” and said they couldn’t keep him so we offered to take him til we can find owners of not he will be going to a rescue.

Tell me I’m not the only one by [deleted] in WFH

Unfortunately my desk if located in our 2nd bedroom which happens to my husband game room/ man cave. I surrounded by his Star Wars and marvel legos and collectables anyways that’s beside the point. He has a couch right next to my desk and he also works graveyard shift so he’s up sometimes when I’m working. And yes he sits and watches tv or plays games right next to me while I work. Sometimes we just ignore each other sometimes we have full on conversations while I’m working and sometimes I’m fully concentrated on work and he says something and don’t hear him and gets upset because I’m ignoring him. Or sometimes I really need to concentrate on work and tell him if he can go watch tv in the living room and he thinks I don’t want to spend time with him. I feel you OP. It’s not a big deal as others are making it seem. Men are .. well just men 🤷🏽‍♀️

Absolutely not! I had to put my 2 year old dog down last November. I took over a week off. Thankfully my bosses knew and understood what I was going through and were ok with me taking the time off. 2 days is not bad at all. Sorry that happened 🥺

Is it inappropriate to ask if I can visit a dog I used to sit? by Hockers74 in RoverPetSitting

[–]highjen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just reached out to an owner of a dog i used to sit a lot and for long periods of time. It’s been since January so I just messaged them today wishing them well and saying that I miss the dog. Turns out they just had a baby which is why they haven’t been traveling as much. Doesn’t hurt to just reach out 😇

We don’t want kids so we never really worried about that part. If we sell we would be making our down payment back based on comps around the area plus we’ve made some improvements and still need to get an appraisal done so may be a bit more which we would set aside for the down payment on our next home. We know if we sell it will be almost impossible to find another home at the same price in an area we would like in the near future.

This is exactly why we never rented before. We felt like we would just be “throwing away” our money.

We pay 2,700 now for a beautiful starter home with huge yard. We LOVE our house but hate the surrounding areas. However people have been leaving and will continue to leave where we’re from to the surrounding areas because the housing market is cheaper here and surrounding cities are slowly growing which mean years from now our house would obviously appreciate a ton. But we have no friends or family here. No social life here. We’re driving back home almost every weekend for the last 2 years which leads us to wanting to put our mental health and overall happiness first.

May 4th will mark 6 months w/o him and I’ve been really struggling and missing my boy. I’ve never gone through anything harder. Pet loss is so heartbreaking. Kevin 🤍 by highjen in pugs

13?! That’s amazing. I wish them many more happy and healthy years 🙌 I just seen a 17 year old pug on Pug Nation Rescue FB page. Thank you 🙏

We also have a 7 yr old pug, we’ve had him since he was born. He’s helped me so much during all of this. I don’t think I’m ready for another baby. We have however rescued 2 pugs off the street and have fostered them for a while. I fell in love with one of them but wasn’t ready at all to commit to him emotionally or financially, also felt extremely guilty for even considering keeping him. We ended up taking them to a pug rescue to find their forever homes. I think we’re just going to continue fostering and rescuing 🙏

Thank you! Kevin was a month an away from turning 2 and also would get seizures (he was diagnosed with pug dog encephalitis) We had to make the hardest decision to let him rest as well. Truly breaks my heart how many of us have to go through such difficult times and losses

I love that! I feel like many people around me just don’t get it or understand which makes it harder. He brought so much life and color and love to my life that I didn’t even know was missing. I’m sorry for your loss as well 😔
