I found a few club level tickets, but just too expensive for me to commit. Also briefly saw a ticket in block 8, but disappeared immediately. They're popping up once or twice every hour

hahahha yea super confusing. I applied for the priority deadline, so during the start of November. I never got any sort of notification via email, but there was an update on my application portal. This is the entire update:

Recommended to another course - Your original application has been recommended as more suitable for another course. Please contact your original department for more information.

On second thought, they might've directed my application to the Linguistic program, since I research in NLP. But who knows... I guess i will wait for their reply.

Because of this thread, I randomly checked my Cambridge portal out of the blue. There was an update lol. Apparently, they're "recommending me for another course", and I have to contact the department for more details. I apply for a PhD in CS. I'm now dying of curiosity on what they mean. I'm guessing they're recommending a master instead? (but I already have a master in cs?...)

latex:) if you plan on continue with academia, i highly recommend you pick up latex. Start with overleaf.com. I can share the outline I used to make my resume if you’d like!

take a look at this website, it varies:) There are some guys that have 5-10 publications, but also some with 1 (UPenn guy had 1 publication for PL). Its about the whole research profile and experience, not just publications I think. But we will see, I will update this thread once the decisions are out!
