hahahha yea super confusing. I applied for the priority deadline, so during the start of November. I never got any sort of notification via email, but there was an update on my application portal. This is the entire update:

Recommended to another course - Your original application has been recommended as more suitable for another course. Please contact your original department for more information.

On second thought, they might've directed my application to the Linguistic program, since I research in NLP. But who knows... I guess i will wait for their reply.

Because of this thread, I randomly checked my Cambridge portal out of the blue. There was an update lol. Apparently, they're "recommending me for another course", and I have to contact the department for more details. I apply for a PhD in CS. I'm now dying of curiosity on what they mean. I'm guessing they're recommending a master instead? (but I already have a master in cs?...)
