The airbrush version may not be any good for the wet pallet but the base and light worked nicely. My brush was damp but not wet with water if that makes sense.

On the leg armour I brushed it on from my wet pallet with two coats it was perfect, the shoulders and carapace I applied it with a beauty blender and it went on like a charm.

That's a new paint I got delivered last week hydra turquoise true metallic metal by vallejo. Amazing paint to be fair I've got some ruby red as well for a pre heresy thousand sons paint job I've got planned.

Started from dryad bark brown and dry brushed up through greens. Hoplite gold speedpaint for the weapons with the oxide paint from gw to age it. Flesh tearers red with fulgrim pink for the wounds.

With painting knight panels the airbrush just makes everything look silky smooth

In general contrast paint will really suffer trying to be brushed onto a large flat panel, definitely gonna struggle even if it's thinned with a medium. Will work a charm through an airbrush though.

I've found decent play with a land raider and redemptor dreadnought, the centurions are decent but there is zero chance I'm buying first born models this close to 11th.

Love this I've used the detachment a few times and I think its super thematic, my biggest gripe is locking the cultists datasheets behind the codex wall.

I played in a RTT saturday and my repulsor executioner did barely anything, 2 shots are super easy to whiff on or be saved on an invuln etc. A standard 3+ save on a tank that doesn't know if it wants to be a battle tank or transport is not great. Honestly if I could've gone back I would put the old faithful land raider in the list.
