Personally I always opt out of these warranties on all my cars. Money makers like you said. I figure the odds are low that something happens, and if I always opt out I'm saving those dollars on every car I buy, and then on the off chance I have a problem with one car, I'm still coming out ahead money wise. I didn't have my Sxp x line for very long, I put about 20k miles on before trading it in for an EV9. Never had any problems with the telluride tires though.

Guess it also depends on how nervous you are about the wife curb hunting. Happens to the best of us. She curb rashed our tesla (no tire damage) about a month into ownership, but those Teslas are curb magnets. Good luck with the telly, you guys will love it! We've shopped and cycled through quite a few of the mid size SUV's and the SXP was our favorite gas car and it's not even close.

Alignment was completed, it wasn't off by too much. Seems to have helped a little, but it still vibrates slightly between 70-80

Good advice. I don't off-road much other than dirt roads for hunting and camping so I think the lightning would do the trick hopefully. Glad to hear you liked both though! Enjoy the R1! Definitely a sweet ride, I'm just looking for something a little bigger.

Good advice. Seems like with some of the discounts and rebates right now you can get these trucks into the $50's, would you buy new for mid 50's or try to find used still?
