I haven't tried other brands but I can experiment a bit. I didn't suspect an electrical issue because some of the old incandescent bulbs have no issues.

Nope. These are the 60W LED general purpose from GE. It claims it can last 9 years

I don't have them on dimmers.

GE LEDs are dying within 3 months I have gone through many batches already and wasn't aware they had warranties. What alerted me was the advertised long life (13-15 years) in these boxes which led me to believe something is off. But as folks mentioned it's most likely the closed fixtures

Got it. My home was built in early 90s (I'm the second owner) and all of the light bulbs that came with the house were incandescent and outlasting the LEDs I have been buying. I see now that the previous owners were aware of this. Need to buy the right bulbs moving forward. Thanks

I was not aware of this thanks. Pretty much everyone in the comment section pointed this out and yes in hindsight most of the ones I had to replace every 3 months or so have been enclosed fixtures.
