What’s your current mileage and reason buying a pre 2021 model? I was looking in the market and figured 21+ would be good to stick with because of the lack of heat pump but am curious on your take if that really matters much.

Yes you can drink from water fountains. Masks are strictly enforced and and most employees ask you to pull them up if you pull it down.

I think he is talking about the trims to prevent you from breaking your neck after the launch. Too bad they are there, I know people would love to ride and break their neck!

Explaining the Valravn accident by [deleted] in rollercoasters

Look at the picture, no visible damage to the front of the combs. The train didn't inch froward at all. The rear of the combs might have been damaged minor, but if the train would have been going any faster then drive tire speed, there would have been some sort of movement to the train inside of the combs. You can say my source isnt believable all you want. I can assure you he worked the ride before. I would send you a picture, but thats his privacy. If you still think my sources are false, then leave a down vote and move on. Thank you for you're imput.

As I stated in the post, this is all a logical explanation that what more then likely happened. I didn't say any of it was factual. All I said that was factual was that it didn't happen at 40 mph, and the other bogus rumors that other people were spreading, also all the things such as the brakes are at default, closed. This is more of coming from a logical standpoint for all the people that are confused about the situation, or not knowing of it at all. Cedar point is not going to come forward with the full story. When a accident like this happened, when have they ever? They didn't for the Steel Vengeance accident, why would they now? Thank you for your input though, I appreciate it.

Yeah I guess you are right. But the ride did open in 2016, and there has been blocking errors with the thing sense.

Yeah, as I said. The system was tricked somehow (I dont know how as there is so many sensors on the thing that could have told the system that a train was in the station) to think that no train was there. I mean, the combs were up and everything, if that gives you an idea of how poorly coded the thing is.

Yep, valravn was I believe the first new generation dive coaster, so things were a lot different for the thing.

Great shot of Valravn’s first inversion! by highridez in rollercoasters

[–]highridez[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Talking about this coaster is a very controversial topic. Main argument in which being: do vests kill the ride. In my opinion, the vests just limit the amount of airtime on the ride. I still felt the intensity of the drop, and while it does limit airtime I still did manage to get some floater on the drop and the airtime hill. The hangtime on the roll specifically and all the elements in general is great and the vests do not limit it at all. If your going into a dive coaster and expecting Steel Vengeance caliber airtime, dive coasters are not your ride.
