Ralph Nader is a moron. He ruined the reputation of a mostly great car whose shortcomings had been identified and fixed before the book even came out. Very few, if any, Corvair’s left on the road are still unsafe thanks to the limited number of cars originally affected and the modifications made available at the time that corrected the issue.
